Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) at Mill Creek Elementary

Lakeland offers two Great Start Readiness Programs (GSRP) Preschool as a state-funded preschool program that provides quality programming for 4-year-olds. Mill Creek offers one GSRP Preschool through NMCAA. In order to prepare your child for kindergarten we focus on all aspects of child development. In addition to learning social/emotional skills through play and daily interactions, we also incorporate math, literacy, language, science, and social studies aspects throughout our day. We recognize parents as the child’s first teacher, and work with families in order to ensure each child has a positive learning experience!

1. Children must be 4 years old by September 1st
2. Centers are open 7 hours per day
3. Children attend 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
4. Families receive 2 parent-teacher conferences and 2 school readiness home visits per school year
5. The program is open from September through May
6. Transportation options for your child may be available
