Enrollment Information

Residential Enrollment:

New families moving into the Elk Rapids Schools residential district can enroll at any time.  Please call the Superintendent’s Office at 231-264-8692 to set up an appointment and to learn more about our residential student enrollment process.

Non-Residential Enrollment Notification:  

Elk Rapids Schools' enrollment window for Schools of Choice families will be from May 26 to June 9, 2026. Enrollment will be open only for grades 6th, 8th, and 12th, on a limited basis, for the 2026-27 school year. Due to current grade-level enrollments, the district is not accepting applications at any other grade levels at this time.
