The Sound of Music tells the story of Maria Rainer, a young postulant at Nunnberg Abbey run by Mother Abbess. She takes a job as a governess to a large family while she decides whether or not to become a nun. She falls in love with the children and teaches them all about music. Their father, Captain von Trapp, is a former Navy captain who is looking for someone to fill the void of his beloved wife. Will that be Baroness Schraeder, keeping him in the millionaire scene, or Maria who has shown him how to really live again? Along the way, the Captain is ordered to accept a commission in the German Navy in 1938, but he strongly opposes the Nazi regime. The Von Trapp family attempts to leave through the Alps to Switzerland, secretly escaping from Admiral Von Schriber, Herr Zeller, and their Nazi minions. Who will help them? Will they make it?

SEATING: At this time, we are doing reserved seating through HomeTown Ticketing. Tickets will also be available at the door on the dates of the show.
DOORS OPEN: Doors open a half hour before each show: 6:30 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and also 1:30 for the Saturday matinee performance.
