   Use e-mail as a learning tool! Even though ER Schools doesn't provide student e-mail accounts, you can get your class using e-mail with this free service, Gaggle.net.

New Symantec AntiVirus Program called 'Endpoint'

If you've purchased a copy of Symantec Antivirus for home use, click here.  If you didn't pay for a license, don't use it.  You will have to enter your username and password.  If you have WindowsXP, you may have to precede your username with ERHS\ (e.g. ERHS\bjohnson).  Save the file to your hard drive, unzip it and then run Setup.  Select all of the default options on the installation.  This is about a 75 MB download. It may take a while.  After the install it will run Live Update.  If you have dialup, you can ask Bernie for a cd.

Thanks to our spiffy new servers, staff members can get to their Outlook information here.  (Requires login)

 

Mail Filter

We use MailWise to keep spam and viruses out of our mailboxes.  Check the filter first if someone sent you something and you never got it. 

 

Distance Learning
Through the Interactive TV room at Elk Rapids High School, we now have access to hundreds of virtual field trips.  This link takes you to the ultra-cool Berrien County ISD Site.  You can also browse options at  PacBell's Site. See also TWICE and the Annenberg Channel (on channel 49 in the ITV room).
