Choral Concert to Benefit Grand Traverse Area Charities
Join us Sunday, August 29th at 4:00pm for a wonderful concert featuring the new choral ensemble Canticum Novum [Pronounced “Kahn’-tee-koom Noh’-voom”] with special guests: Trillium Singers. The benefit concert will take place at Elk Rapids High School’s Peterman Auditorium and will feature repertoire including: Patriotic favorites, Classical standards, moving ballads, Comical tunes, Broadway show-tunes, and exciting Spirituals – a perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon! Tickets are available at the door, $10 for Adults, $5 for Seniors and Children, with all proceeds going to area charities.
Canticum Novum was created by choral director/composer Jeffrey Cobb and accompanist Peggy Johnson in 2007 to present one concert for the benefit of Grand Traverse Area charities. Once again, Cobb has invited some of the area’s top choral singers to come together and present another program.
For more information about Canticum Novum, please call Jeffrey Cobb at 231-938-1591.
