Elementary certification is required. Must meet all No Child Left Behind
requirements. Math, Science, and Social Studies expertise preferred.
Candidate must demonstrate ability to focus learning activities on
benchmarks/student proficiencies while having also demonstrated the ability
to manage an orderly and efficient learning environment for children.
Preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate teamwork,
involvement and initiative in building and district efforts, including curriculum
planning. As well, an ability to apply technology in the classroom and
experience with hands-on constructivist style teaching.
