Fundraiser for Sunrise Academy
Elk Rapids Lions Pre-show Dinner May 14 and 15, 2010
Come enjoy a great dinner sponsored by the Elk Rapids Lions Club with all proceeds given to the Sunrise Academy Students. Menu features chicken, ribs, baked potato, coleslaw and desserts for $15.00. Dinner is at Elk Rapids High School on Friday May 14th and Saturday May 15th served in the cafeteria from 5:00 Pm to 7:00 PM. The culinary class of Sunrise Academy is making the desserts.
The Sunrise Academy students have been partnering with the Lions Club all year. They produced the Program book and PowerPoint presentation at the Lions 40th Anniversary in June, made all those great pies and cakes for the Community dinner and they helped serve at that event. Now it is time for use to share with them. All proceeds of the dinners are earmarked for the projects of the Sunrise Academy. Come enjoy the dinner, and show your support for these great kids.
Some things just go together to make a great night out …….helping a worthwhile program with dinner followed by the Rotary Show at 7:30pm.. What better way to show support for our community service clubs then making it a night on the town!
